Omea
Omea is a narrative gaming platform shipping on Steam, App Store and Google Play. We were responsible for UX design — making the cross-platform narrative interface intuitive enough that players stay in the story instead of fighting the controls.

Challenge
Three platforms (Steam, iOS, Play Store), three sets of UI conventions, and a narrative game where engagement depends entirely on how intuitive the interface feels. Beta testers reported confusion navigating story branches, inconsistent touch/mouse controls, and unclear feedback on choices. Players were quitting before reaching the interesting parts.
Approach
UX audit with real player sessions — watched where people hesitated, tapped wrong, or gave up. Redesigned the core narrative flow: how story branches are presented, how choices feel, how characters interact on screen. Built an adaptive design system with platform-specific overrides so one codebase works across all three platforms. Delivered annotated Figma files and interactive prototypes.
Result
Session time increased significantly. Player feedback shifted from "confusing" to "intuitive and obvious." The team shipped the demo across all three platforms on schedule. Testers specifically praised the clarity of the new narrative interface.
